Unlike traditional runway productions, we focus on curated, high-impact showcases that blend creativity with commercial viability, ensuring that independent designers receive the visibility, resources, and industry access they need to thrive.

OUR STORY

​

Founded in 2017 by passionate creatives from the International Academy of Design & Technology in San Antonio, Texas, Rise Fashion Events was born out of a desire to create a space where independent designers could be seen, heard, and celebrated. What started as a bold vision has now become a recognized platform listed on the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) calendar in 2023, marking a major milestone in our commitment to elevating new talent.

Like many organizations, we faced challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic but remained dedicated to our mission. In 2022, we made a powerful comeback, further strengthening our reputation as a premier showcase for market-ready collections. Our events have featured renowned designers such as Prajje Oscar, Jonathan Kayne, and Korto Momolu of Project Runway, as well as groundbreaking moments like WBC Champion Franchón Crews-Dezurn launching her own fashion collection.
